Apple has sued one of its recycling partner firm GEEP Canada for allegedly stealing and reselling devices that were meant for recycling. It has been learnt, the Ontario-based firm, has sold nearly one lakh iPhones, iPads and Apple Watches it was supposed to destroy and recycle. Apple said in a lawsuit that the resales “damaged demand for new Apple products, created safety issues for consumers and hurt its brand”.
苹果已经起诉了其回收合作伙伴公司GEEP Canada，涉嫌盗窃和转售应该回收的设备。 据悉，这家位于安大略省的公司已经售出了将近十万部本应销毁和回收的iPhone，iPad和Apple Watch。 苹果在诉讼中表示，转售“损害了对苹果新产品的需求，给消费者带来了安全问题，并损害了其品牌”。
