Toyota once again suspends operations at India plant, this time due to employees’ strike

Automobile giant Toyota has suspended operations at its India plant in Bidadi, Karnataka. The operations have been suspended due to a strike started by the employees in the company in the view of a disciplinary action that was taken against one of their colleagues. Toyota Kirloskar Motor said that a minimum workforce of 90% in each shift is required for smooth operations and with the ongoing strike, it is not possible.
