Philips seeks ban on sale of certain phones by Xiaomi in India

Dutch electronics major Philips has knocked the doors of the Delhi High Court, seeking a ban on sales, assembling, manufacturing, importing, and advertising of Chinese handset maker Xiaomi’s certain products, alleging the infringement of its patents. Philips alleges that Xiaomi has infringed three different patents related to Universal Mobile Telecommunications Service or UMTS enhancements in the country.
荷兰电子产品巨头飞利浦(Philips)已向德里高等法院(Delhi High Court)提出申请,要求禁止中国手机制造商小米的某些产品的销售、组装、制造、进口和广告,指控其侵犯了自己的专利。飞利浦称,小米侵犯了三项与通用移动通信服务或UMTS增强相关的专利。
