Five Chinese companies including Huawei Technologies, ZTE Corp, Hytera Communications Corp, Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology Corporation and Dahua Technology Corporation have been labelled as a threat to the national security of the United States by the Federal Communications Commission. Acting FCC Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel said the “list provides meaningful guidance” for establishing next-generation networks.
