Showing a stunning growth in the pandemic, Chinese company Xiaomi has become the second largest smartphone vendor globally for the first time ever (in terms of unit shipments) in the April-June quarter, a new report has showed. Samsung was still the leading vendor with a 19% share of smartphones shipped and Xiaomi took second place for the first time ever, with a 17% share, according to market research firm Canalys.
一份新报告显示，中国企业小米在今年4月至6月这一季度(按发货量计算)首次成为全球第二大智能手机供应商，显示出在疫情中惊人的增长。根据市场研究公司Canalys的数据，三星仍然是智能手机出货量的龙头，市场份额为19%，小米以17%的市场份额首次位居第二。
