Team China made a strong start on Saturday at the Tokyo Olympic Games with three gold medals and one bronze medal, sparking waves of joyful cheers among Chinese audiences.
In the morning, Chinese athlete Yang Qian claimed the first gold medal of the Tokyo Olympic Games in the women’s 10m air rifle, which is also the first gold medal for Team China. Yang won gold with 251.8 points, a record-breaking score.
In the afternoon, Hou Zhihui won a gold medal in the women’s 49kg-class weightlifting, marking the second gold for the Chinese delegation.
Hou Zhihui broke three Olympic records during the final – snatch at 94 kilograms, clean and jerk at 116 kilograms, with a total score of 210 kilograms.
The Chinese cheer squad was seen raising the national flag on the spot to celebrate Hou’s victory and shouting “Team China is the best! Team China will prevail!”

在女子举重49公斤级里，侯志慧以巨大的优势拿到金牌，。不仅如此，侯志慧创造了抓举、挺举、总成绩三项奥运会纪录。杨倩、侯志慧夺金之后，中国队包揽了本届奥运会的前两枚金牌。
在女子重剑个人赛里，孙一文一路过关斩将杀入决赛，成为史上首位杀入奥运女子重剑个人赛决赛的中国选手。在决赛里，孙一文战胜世界排名第一位的波佩斯库，为中国队赢得第三枚金牌的同时，也成为第一位赢得奥运女子重剑个人赛金牌的中国选手。
在男子10米气手枪决赛里，第4次出战奥运会的庞伟以217.6环获得铜牌。
