Hotpot chain store giant Haidilao to close 300 stores by year-end after mass expansion

Hotpot chain Haidilao International Holding said on Friday it will gradually close about 300 stores due to a lack of customers and poor performance.
The company said the failure of these outlets to meet expectations was mainly caused by the company’s rapid expansion strategy in 2019.
11月5日晚间，海底捞发布公告称，将于2021年12月31日前逐步关停300家左右经营未达预期门店。”将开展“啄木鸟”计划，收缩集团的业务扩张。
