BMW denies it plans to sell Oxford Mini plant to China’s Great Wall
宝马否认计划将MINI牛津工厂出售给长城汽车
宝马(BMW)被迫出面否认它计划将牛津MINI工厂出售给中国汽车制造商长城(Great Wall)。此前一家德国杂志报道称，宝马正在考虑此举，作为对这个亏损品牌进行改革的一部分。这家总部位于慕尼黑的汽车制造商与长城汽车在中国有一家合资公司，将从2023年开始生产一款小型电动版MINI汽车。宝马旗下还拥有劳斯莱斯汽车公司(Rolls-Royce Motor Cars)。
BMW has been forced to deny it plans to sell the Oxford Mini plant to Chinese carmaker Great Wall, after a German magazine reported that the move was being considered as part of a wider overhaul of the lossmaking brand.
The Munich-based carmaker, which also owns Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, already has a joint venture with Great Wall Motors in China to manufacture a smaller version of the electric Mini from 2023.
