All 113 passengers and 9 crew evacuated in the flight that veered off the runway and caught fire at Chongqing Airport
重庆机场坠机起火，机上113名乘客和9名机组人员全部撤离
The 113 passengers and 9 crew members on board of the flight from Chongqing to Nyingchi, southwest China’s Xizang Autonomous Region, were evacuated safely, after the crew member found an abnormality and the flight veered off the runway as the takeoff abruptly halted in Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport on Thursday.
The Tibet Airlines issued an official notice later that said all passengers and crew were evacuated safely. According to the CAAC Southwest Regional Administration official website 36 passengers were hospitalized with minor injuries and the aircraft was damaged by fire.
5月12日上午，西藏航空一航班在重庆江北国际机场起飞时冲出跑道，并起火。目前现场火已扑灭，机场正在全力处理中。受影响，重庆江北国际机场关闭跑道，起飞航班扣停，进近航班部分转移备降成都双流国际机场。
西藏航空官方微博发布情况通报称，2022年5月12日08:09分，西藏航空B- 6425飞机TV9833执行重庆-林芝航班，机上113名旅客，9名机组人员，在重庆江北机场起飞过程中机组发现飞机异常中断起飞，飞机偏出跑道。所有旅客和机组全部安全撤离，受伤旅客均为轻伤，送往医院治疗，飞机起火受损。事件发生后，西藏航空第一时间启动一级应急预案，全力做好应对和善后工作。
