Jack Ma to Give Up Control of Chinese Fintech Giant Ant Group

Chinese magnate Jack Ma will no longer be the controlling person of Ant Group, the Wall Street Journal reported on Saturday, citing a statement put out by the Chinese fintech giant. The changes are made to reduce Ant’s reliance on the flamboyant Chinese billionaire, who co-founded Alibaba Group Holding and helped create Ant, the Journal reported previously.
《华尔街日报》周六援引声明报道，马云将不再是中国金融科技巨头蚂蚁金服集团的实控人。这一变化是为了减少蚂蚁金服对这位中国亿万富翁的依赖，马云是阿里巴巴集团控股公司的联合创始人，并创建了蚂蚁金服。
