40% of new cases of malignant tumors in China occur in rural areas, indicating a huge demand for grassroots cancer prevention and treatment. With scientific progress, the survival period of cancer patients has significantly extended, making malignant tumors a chronic disease that requires long-term treatment. “In the future, as the standardized grading and treatment system continues to be promoted, we will certainly achieve the goal of having malignant tumors treated as chronic diseases in local hospitals, right at the patient’s doorstep, on a larger scale.”
