Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region sees foreign trade growth in Jan-May
前5个月京津冀外贸进出口超2万亿元
The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region saw its foreign trade increase by 5.9 percent year-on-year to 2.07 trillion yuan in the first five months of this year, according to Shijiazhuang Customs.
据石家庄海关消息，今年前5个月，京津冀地区进出口2.07万亿元，同比增长5.9%。
The region’s foreign trade accounted for 12.3 percent of the country’s total during the period.
今年前5个月，京津冀地区进出口总值占全国进出口总值的12.3%。
From January to May, the region’s imports reached 1.53 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4 percent, while its exports amounted to nearly 542 billion yuan, up 11.6 percent year-on-year.
今年前5个月，京津冀地区进口总值1.53万亿元，同比增长4%，出口总值近5420亿元，同比增长11.6%。
During the period, mechanical and electrical products accounted for about half of the total export value, while refined oil products posted robust export growth, up 81.7 percent year-on-year.
出口方面，机电产品出口占出口总值的50%。成品油出口大幅增长，实现同比增长81.7%。
Meanwhile, crude oil is the region’s major import item, occupying over one-third of the total import value. Imported high-tech products and agricultural products also registered rapid growth.
同时，原油是京津冀地区的主要进口产品，占进口总值的三分之一以上。高技术产品和农产品进口增长较快。
