Tesla Announces Price Cuts for Model Y, Offers Insurance Subsidy for Model 3 in China

August 14, 2023: Tesla has officially announced a significant price adjustment for its Model Y electric vehicles in China. Starting today, the price of the Model Y Long Range version will be reduced from ¥313,900 to ¥299,900, and the Performance version will see a reduction from ¥363,900 to ¥349,900.
This strategic move is expected to make both the Long Range and Performance versions of the Model Y more competitive in the market. It also aims to potentially attract more consumers to opt for Tesla’s electric cars.
In addition to the price cuts, Tesla is rolling out a limited-time insurance subsidy offer for the Model 3. From August 14 to September 30, 2023, those who place an order for the Model 3 Rear-Wheel Drive version and complete the delivery, and purchase the corresponding vehicle insurance through partnering insurance agencies, will be eligible for an ¥8,000 insurance subsidy.
8月14日 消息:特斯拉官方微博宣布，自2023年8月14日起，ModelY长续航版的价格将从31.39万元调整为29.99万元，ModelY高性能版的价格将从36.39万元调整为34.99万元。
这一价格调整将使ModelY长续航版和高性能版更具竞争力，同时也可能刺激更多的消费者购买特斯拉的电动汽车。
此外，2023年8月14日（含）至2023月9日30日(含)，Model3现车提供限时保险补贴，下订 Model3后轮驱动版现车并完成交付且通过合作保险机构购买相应车险，可享补贴8，000元保险补贴。
