Tesla to face EU anti-subsidy probe over China exports, says Brussels trade chief

欧盟最高贸易官员表示，反补贴调查不限于中国品牌的电动汽车，如果其他国家生产商的汽车获得了生产方面的补贴，也可能受到调查。
Tesla and European carmakers that export from China to the EU will be part of the bloc’s probe into whether the country’s electric vehicles industry is receiving unfair subsidies, Brussels’ most senior trade official said.
布鲁塞尔最高贸易官员表示，欧盟(EU)关于中国电动汽车行业是否获得不公平补贴的调查，会将从中国向欧盟出口产品的特斯拉(Tesla)和欧洲汽车制造商包括在调查范围内。
EU executive vice-president Valdis Dombrovskis on Tuesday said there was “sufficient prima facie evidence” to justify the probe into imports from China of battery-powered vehicles, which Brussels fears could overwhelm the bloc’s car industry.
欧盟委员会执行副主席瓦尔季斯•东布罗夫斯基斯(Valdis Dombrovskis)周二表示，有“充足的初步证据”证明对从中国进口的电动汽车展开调查是合理的。布鲁塞尔方面担心，从中国进口的电动汽车可能冲垮欧盟汽车行业。
“Strictly speaking, it’s not limited only to Chinese brand electrical vehicles, it can be also other producers’ vehicles if they are receiving production-side subsidies,” said Dombrovskis in an interview, responding to a question on whether Tesla or Geely, the owner of Sweden’s Volvo, might fall under the probe.
当在采访中被问及特斯拉或瑞典沃尔沃(Volvo)的所有者吉利(Geely)是否可能受到调查时，东布罗夫斯基斯说：“严格来说，（调查）不限于中国品牌的电动汽车，如果其他（国家）生产商的汽车获得了生产方面的补贴，也可能受到调查。”
