Ukraine war: At least 12 Russian soldiers ‘killed after eating poisoned watermelons’

Ukrainian resistance fighters are reported to have killed at least 12 Russian soldiers by poisoning watermelons.

The fruits, which is also said to have “left around 30 others hospitalised”, were given to the troops in the occupied town of Mariupol. The town city was the scene of a three-month battle leaving most of the city in ruins at the beginning of the war. Resistance fighters have been involved in sabotage incidents ever since the occupation began.
