Super Typhoon Gemei landed on the coast of Fujian
超强台风格美登陆福建
Super Typhoon Gemei landed on the coast of Nan’ao Township, Yilan, Taiwan, China at around 00:00 on July 25, 2024. Then it weakened into strong typhoon scale at the time of the landfall,with the maximum wind speed near its center of the landing reaching scale 15 (48m/s).
超强台风”格美”于2024年7月25日凌晨00:00左右在中国台湾宜兰县南澳乡沿岸登陆。登陆时减弱为强台风级别，中心附近最大风速达到15级（48米/秒）。
It is expected that the Typhoon will make landfall along the coast from Xiuyu to Lianjiang, Fujian, China from this afternoon to night, which will pass through Fujian and then turn to move in northen direction, gradually weakening in intensity.
预计台风将从今天下午到晚上在中国福建秀屿到连江一带沿海登陆，穿过福建后转向北上，强度逐渐减弱。
National Meteorological Centre (NMC) continued to issue red warning of typhoon at 06:00 on July 25.
国家气象中心（NMC）在7月25日早上6点继续发布台风红色预警。
