Hong Kong girl, 3, dies after she, sister, 6, and their grandfather hit by tram
香港小女孩过马路被电车撞倒身亡
A three-year-old has died in hospital after she, her six-year-old sister and their 66-year-old grandfather were hit by a tram, with the younger child and man getting trapped beneath the vehicle in Hong Kong’s Western district on Thursday.
一名三岁的香港女孩在医院去世，此前她、她六岁的姐姐和66岁的祖父被电车撞到，其中小女孩和老人被卡在了车辆下。这起事故发生在周四，地点是香港西区的肯尼迪镇的海滨（Praya）与皇后大道西的行人过道处。
A source familiar with the case said the sisters, their grandfather and the family’s domestic helper, 34, were believed to have tried crossing the street while the red man signal was on at the pedestrian junction with Queen’s Road West at Kennedy Town’s Praya.
