Major Chinese e-commerce platform operators Alibaba Group Holding, JD.com and Pinduoduo on Monday kicked off their respective campaigns for Singles’ Day, the world’s largest annual shopping festival, just weeks after Beijing unveiled wide-ranging economic-stimulus measures.
中国主要的电商平台运营商阿里巴巴集团、京东和拼多多于周一分别启动了各自的“双十一”促销活动,这是全球规模最大的年度购物节。就在几周前,北京刚刚公布了一系列广泛的经济刺激措施。

Taobao and Tmall Group, Alibaba’s domestic e-commerce business unit, launched at 8pm on Monday the presale stage of its promotion for Singles’ Day – also known as 11.11 or Double 11, referring to the shopping extravaganza originally observed on November 11 – as the company anticipates a record-high volume of users taking part in this year’s festival.
淘宝和天猫集团,阿里巴巴旗下的国内商业务部门,于周一晚上8点启动了双十一促销活动的预售阶段。双十一,又称为11.11或双十一购物狂欢节,最初是在11月11日举办的。该公司预计今年将有创纪录数量的用户参与这一盛会。
