The 20th Japan-China Joint Public Opinion Poll, conducted by The Genron NPO and China International Publishing Group, highlights a 24% increase in negative impressions among Chinese respondents since last year, reaching 87.7%.

This marks the second-highest level of mutual distrust since the survey’s inception in 2005.
