Renowned Chinese pianist Li Yundi’s comeback concert, “Yundi Plays Mozart: The Sonata Project 1”, scheduled for January 1, 2025, at the Hangzhou Grand Theatre, has been abruptly cancelled. This would have marked his first domestic performance since his 2021 scandal involving allegations of soliciting prostitution. On December 5, ticket sales were halted, and theatre staff attributed the postponement to scheduling conflicts, according to Chinese media reports.
