Shell has forecast that global liquefied natural gas (LNG) demand will rise by 60% by 2040, driven by faster economic growth in Asia and the push to decarbonize industries.
壳牌公司表示，受亚洲经济加速增长以及工业脱碳需求推动，到2040年全球液化天然气（LNG）需求预计将增长60%。
This outlook is 10 percentage points higher than last year’s projection for the same period, reflecting stronger demand from China and India.
这一预测比去年同期的增长预期提高了10个百分点，主要反映出中国和印度对LNG的需求更为强劲。
