IBM Shuts Down Major China Entity After 32 Years

US computing giant IBM is shutting down one of its major entities in China after 32 years of managing local R&D operations. The move follows last year’s layoffs of over 1,000 employees at its China Development and Systems Labs. IBM (China) Investment Company stated it had “completed its mission” and would cease operations.
美国计算巨头IBM宣布关闭其在中国的主要实体之一，该实体已成立32年，负责管理本地研发业务。这一决定紧随去年IBM中国开发实验室和系统实验室在多个城市裁员1000多人之后。IBM（中国）投资有限公司表示已“完成在华开发使命”，将停止运营。
