CK Hutchison posted a 24% rise in port earnings to HK$13.1bn (US$1.7bn) despite Beijing criticism over its $22.8bn deal with BlackRock.

The conglomerate is selling 43 out of 53 ports, including two at the Panama Canal, to a BlackRock-led consortium, retaining control of its Chinese ports.
