Prince Harry Accused of Bullying by Charity Chair After Resignation

Prince Harry has been accused of “harassment and bullying at scale” by Sophie Chandauka, chair of Sentebale, the HIV/Aids charity he co-founded in 2006. The Duke of Sussex resigned this week following a dispute with Chandauka, which he called “devastating.”
Harry and Prince Seeiso of Lesotho, along with the board of trustees, stepped down amid tensions with Chandauka. In an upcoming Sky News interview, she criticized Harry for authorizing a public statement about his departure without informing her or other key leaders.
“Can you imagine what that attack has done to me, the 540 individuals in Sentebale, and their families?” Chandauka said. “That is an example of harassment and bullying at scale.”
Representatives for Harry and Meghan did not immediately respond to the allegations. Sky News reported that the couple declined to comment.
Sentebale, founded in honor of Princess Diana, supports young people affected by HIV in Lesotho and Botswana. Harry’s exit marks another rift in his philanthropic ties following his step back from royal duties in 2020.
