Volvo has announced it will stop importing the S90 sedan into the US due to the ongoing trade war between the US and China. The sedan, which has been manufactured at Volvo’s Daqing plant in China since 2018, was already struggling with low sales, moving just 1,364 units in 2024. The trade war and the high tariffs on Chinese goods, including vehicles, have only made the situation worse for the Swedish automaker.
