Chagee Targets $400mn Nasdaq Debut Amid US–China Tensions
Shanghai-based tea chain Chagee plans to raise nearly $400mn in its Nasdaq debut this week, despite escalating US-China trade tensions. Known for coffee-inspired drinks like “teaspressos” and oolong “teapuccinos,” Chagee aims to sell 14.6 million shares priced between $26 and $28 each. This would value the company at around $5.2bn fully diluted. If successful, it would mark the second-largest US listing by a Chinese firm in over three years.
