Macau’s Ultra-Luxury 13 Hotel Up for Sale Again Amid Tourism Boom

The 13 Hotel and Casino, a lavish 22-storey property in Macau’s Coloane district, is up for sale again. Once owned by Hong Kong businessman Stephen Hung, the hotel was valued at US$309 million last year. Now held by a bank, the 199-room hotel—with its striking red façade—has reopened for public tender, with a deadline of May 19. According to JLL, strong tourist recovery post-pandemic has sparked “many inquiries” this time. The sale marks the second attempt to find a buyer after a failed tender in 2024.
