BYD Expands Ocean Series with New Wagon and EV Models

At the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show, BYD unveiled the Seal 06 DM-i wagon, a plug-in hybrid extending the Ocean Series. Based on the popular Seal 06 DM-i sedan, the wagon offers more cargo space and two power options, delivering 53 km or 83 km electric range. Pricing is set between 120,000–150,000 yuan. Also debuting is the Seal 06 EV, a fully electric sedan sharing a similar size and price. In Q3, BYD will introduce the Sealion 06 DM-i and Sealion 06 EV, offering stronger motors and an AWD option, priced between 160,000–200,000 yuan.
